From my personal experience I can tell that there’ s nothing even remotely comparable to the taste of a pizza baked in your own outdoor oven, built from fire bricks and clay( or from old bricks alone, but such an oven is not as good ). All those of us, who live in houses and have enough free space outside, should seriously consider building their own outdoor pizza oven – and not only for baking pizzas in it, because it is also perfect for baking bread and practically all kinds and types of bakings.
As you probably know, the real neapolitan pizza is baked in an outdoor oven and it has to be a wood-fired oven, because otherwise the pizza will not be neapolitan.
